I was kindly loaned a Moth trap so last night although not the best weather conditions I gave it ago. I did get several type of moth out of about 20+ moths in total and also about 40+ honey bees that had been attracted by the light.
The problem being you cant get more than 2.5 m away from a bee hive in my garden, so its not like I could put the trap anywhere else.
I have id’d most the moths but see the short comings of my basic moth /butterfly book so if you see some that are wrongly ID’d or you know the un ID’d moths drop me a comment.
