As I passed one of the hives the other day there was a drone clinging to the outside, which was a surprise as most have already been kicked out of the hive a month or two ago. On closer inspection his boy bits were out, Some thing I have not seen before.
The Pictures below explain how the honey bee Queen and drones mate which is always a death sentence for the drones.
